Exit polls from the 2022 midterm election for the open U.S. Senate seat in Georgia indicate that voters from non-white backgrounds were more likely to vote for the Democratic incumbent candidate, Raphael Warnock. 70 percent of white voters reported voting for Republican candidate Hershel Walker in the 2022 midterm election.
Since no candidate in the Georgia Senate race secured 50 percent of the vote, the election advanced to a run-off, with the top two candidates - Raphael Warnock and Hershel Walker - advancing. The run-off election was held on December 6th, 2022, with Raphael Warnock securing another term.
