According to a survey conducted among Indonesians in December 2023, social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram were found to be the primary channels of political information among Gen Z, with respondent shares reaching 51 percent for those platforms. Meanwhile, 53 percent of Gen X respondents used TV and radio as their main channels.
