Between 2009 to and 2023, the market share of the Windows operating system (OS) in the United Kingdom (UK) increased in the first half, but then it started to increase steadily each year. By 2023, its market share in the UK was only 0.03 percent.
Although the market share of the Windows OS decreased in recent years it was not as big as the drop encountered by Blackberry OS. In recent years, Blackberry OS decreased considerably. On the other hand, iOS and Android have been dominating the mobile operating systems market share in recent years.
