The number of employees in the synthetic rubber in primary forms manufacturing industry in Romania increased by 10 employees in 2019 in comparison to the previous year. While the growth in the industry is slowing down, with 115 employees, the number of employees is at its peak in the observed period. This could be explained by the fact that Eurostat reports a break in time series for 2018.
According to Eurostat employed persons are all persons aged 15 and over who performed work, even for just one hour per week, for pay, profit or family gain during the reference week or were not at work but had a job or business from which they were temporarily absent because of, for instance, illness, holidays, industrial dispute, and education or training.
