In fiscal year 2018, India's spice production was estimated to amount to 8.1 million metric tons. These spices include garlic, turmeric, coriander, cumin and cinnamon among a variety of others. The Indian spice market is estimated to reach a value of about 18 billion U.S. dollars by 2020.
