Spending of UK consumers on in-home leisure activities increased slightly in 2019 compared to three yearw earlier. According to the survey, 80 percent of consumers in the UK said they had spent money on takeaways, TV and other home entertainment subscriptions in the first quarter of 2019 compared to 77 percent in the same period in 2016. The proportion of people eating out however was still the higher than other leisure activities.
