Survey on trust in the police in Sweden 2016, by gender

This statistic shows the results of a survey on the level of trust in the police in Sweden in 2016, by gender. Women had the highest trust in the Swedish Police - almost a half of individuals interviewed stated to have high or a very high confidence in the authority. Only 32 percent of male respondents said to trust the police and how they handle their duties.
Also when it comes to the police's ability to solve crimes 19 percent of Swedish women and only 11 percent the men perceive that the police is doing a good job. But nevertheless, most of surveyed people stated that they are doing a bad job in terms of solving crimes.
