The concert ticket sales revenue in Japan reached more than 398 billion Japanese yen in 2022. Sales strongly decreased in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which led to the cancelation of many live events, but started to recover in 2021 and overtook pre-pandemic levels in 2022.
