Italy: Serie A signing budgets 2017, by football team

In the Italian Serie A football league, the Juventus team reported the highest signing budget in 2017, at 143 million euros. Inter followed with 105 million euros and Roma ranked third with 100 million euros. The signing budget indicated the club’s spending for its players for that year. This also depends from the market value of football players, which might vary significantly.

 Juventus' market value

  The market value of Juventus FC peaked in October 2019, then decreased gradually during the following months. As of April 2020, due to the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, this club's market value dropped to 615 million euros. Since August 2020, the market value started to rise again, reaching 690 million euros in October 2020.

Supporting in arenas

  Aside from financial figures, the data on presence of supporters in stadiums shows that the most supported club was Inter Milan in the season 2019/2020, recording almost 1.2 million attendances. In the selected season, Juventus FC ranked third in terms of attendances.
