Methods and devices for watching television in Belgium 2017-2018

The statistic displays the results of a survey question regarding methods and devices used for accessing and displaying television content in Belgium in 2017 and 2018. In 2018, the share of respondents who accessed and displayed TV content through regular television and recorded content increased. In both years TV sets were the preferred devices used to display such content. As of 2018, over 90 percent of respondents accessed and displayed regular television on a TV set. Although the share of respondents who streamed online content on another device was comparatively low, the number of users who did so increased by just under ten percent in 2018.
