Number of snowmakers added in ski sites in China 2015-2023
In the fiscal year of 2022/23, more than 1,080 new snowmaking machines were added into ski sites across China. Around a quarter of the newly purchased snowmakers were made in China. The number of ski resorts in the country increased significantly in the last decade, reflecting the increasing popularity of winter sports among the Chinese people.
