Panama: votes cast in 2019 presidential elections, by type The statistic depicts the number and share of votes cast on the presidential elections held in Panama on May 5, 2019. On that day, more than 1.96 million votes (97.6 percent) were considered valid, whereas around 27.7 thousand (1.4 percent) were null. Nito Cortizo was elected the new Panamanian president, having obtained around 33.4 percent of votes cast.
