Number of cows in farms Russia 2003-2022
The inventory of cows on farms in Russia gradually declined over the period under consideration, ranging from 11.1 million heads recorded in 2003 to 7.7 million heads counted at the end of 2022. The figures remained rather stable in recent years at approximately eight million heads.
