U.S. plant-based vs. total meat retail sales growth 2019 and 2020
Plant-based meat grew by 45 percent in 2020 when compared to the previous year. In 2019, sales of plant-based meats increased by approximately ten percent in the United States. In comparison, total U.S. animal meat had a sales growth of two percent in 2019.
