By 2022, mobile devices were forecast to account for nearly three-quarters (73 percent) of e-commerce purchases in Peru. That represents a 13 percentage point growth compared to 2020, when 60 percent of online purchases among Peruvians came from smartphones and tablets, while the rest took place via desktop.
