As of 2018, there were in total approximately 416,300 people who visited the Mauritshuis in The Hague, which is a slight decrease compared to the previous year when there were 417,227 visitors. The highest visitor volume is seen in 2015, when the museum registered just over 500,000 visitors. The Mauritshuis is an art museum, housing many Dutch Golden Age paintings from Vermeer, Rembrandt and other famous painters.
