French Internet users can access the news through different types of services. When they were asked, in 2021, about which one of these they used the most to access the news, it appeared that most of the respondents (26 percent) had no answer. Websites or mobile apps of print media were named by 29 percent as the most accessed online services. Social media platforms such as Facebook or Twitter were the second most used sources (20 percent). Websites/apps of TV channels or radio stations were also named, followed by news websites with each nine percent.
