The outbreak of the coronavirus epidemic had a significant impact on the situation of employers and employees in Poland. Eighty-eight percent of the employees were able to use remote work, which was performed by 21 percent of the employees. Seventy percent of parents took advantage of child care allowance due to the closure of schools, and 11 percent of employees were absent from work due to suspension or reduction of production.
