Most popular digital video services in Russia 2022

The Russian online video service Ivi was the most popular platform in the country in January 2022, used by nearly 53 percent of survey respondents. To compare, Netflix, which had almost 192 thousand subscribers in Russia in the fourth quarter of 2021, was named by approximately 22 percent of users of video-on-demand (VOD) platforms. Due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine that started in February 2022, Netflix stopped operating in Russia in March of that year.
