India - drivers for stockpiling after coronavirus outbreak by age 2020

According to a survey by Rakuten Insight on panic buying after the coronavirus outbreak, a majority of Indian respondents across all age groups stated that they stocked up on items because they thought supermarket and shops would run out of these items. In the same survey, 61 percent of respondents indicated that they had not engaged in panic buying because of the coronavirus pandemic, while 39 percent of respondents did.
