From the graph, information is given about the energy consumption levels of e-commerce websites in milliampere hour (mAh), during different stages of application usage on a smartphone in France in 2018. In the e-commerce application category tourism, the hotel app with the lowest energy consumption during the hotel search phase was Trivago with 2.22 mAh. Kayak scored 2.85 mAh, followed by HôtelTonight with 3.17 mAh.
Overall, the total duration of a customer journey on the autonomy of the smartphone was also calculated by the source, with Trivago being the most energy friendly travel application.
