According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in the Philippines, 88 percent of the respondents aged 45 to 54 stated they preferred shopping in a physical store and being able to inspect the product before buying it during COVID-19 pandemic as of May 2020. Meanwhile, nine percent of the respondents, aged 16 to 24 and 35 to 44, wanted to support local brick and mortar shops during the crisis.
