Most popular comic books types in France 2020, by reader age
Comedy themed comic books seemed to be the most popular type of comic book among all the ages in France in 2020. Almost three-quarters of all children (aged 7 to 15 years) declared having read at least one comedy comic book in the past twelve months. As for teenagers and adults (aged 16 to 75 years), this figure was slightly lower in spite of passing the 60 percent threshold. Adventure themed comic books seemed to be a common interest among both age groups, as 57 percent of people of both groups equally declared having read them in the past year.
