According to a survey conducted among current apartment renters in the United States, since the beginning of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, virtual apartment tours have become more prevalent. Approximately 31.5 percent of respondents said that they attended more virtual tours when hunting for a dwelling compared to 22.1 percent that claimed there were less virtual tours than usual. In contrast, more respondents agreed that virtual leases are less common.
