Renewable energy investment in Africa 2005-2020
Renewable energy investment in Africa amounted to 2.7 billion U.S. dollars in 2020, decreasing from 3.5 billion U.S. dollars in the previous year. The value of private and public investments in renewables in the continent has fluctuated since 2005, but overall increased from that year onwards. In 2018, investment in renewable energy peaked at 10.3 billion U.S. dollars.
