Share of global art export value by country 2022

Over the period considered, the United States and the United Kingdom accounted for the highest shares of the value of art and antiques exports worldwide. In 2022, the U.S. alone represented roughly a third of the global value from art and antiques exports, while the UK made up 18 percent. Meanwhile, exports from Hong Kong SAR generated 15 percent of the total value in 2022, increasing remarkably from the figure reported in the 1990s.
