Over the period considered, the United States accounted for the highest share of the value of art and antiques exported worldwide. In 2023, the U.S. alone represented 35 percent of the global value of art and antiques exports. Meanwhile, exports from Hong Kong SAR generated 18 percent of the total value in 2023, increasing remarkably from the figure reported in the 1990s.
