Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is identified as one of the main causes of fatal accidents by a significant share of French road users.

The 2,400 respondent count includes at least 200 respondents per region (excluding Corsica). The sample is representative of the overall population based on genderm age, employment, and type of agglomeration. It has a confidence interval of 95 percent.
