The Bollywood movie 'Bell Bottom' was the highest grossing Bollywood movie produced in India in 2021 with a collection of around 317 million Indian rupees. This was followed by 'Roohi' at around 153 million rupees worth of net gross box office collections. Box office collections in India saw a steep decline between 2020 and 2021 owing to the adverse effects of the coronavirus pandemic situation as cinemas and movie multiplexes remained closed throughout this period.
