ATM fraud incident losses in Europe 2010-2019

This statistic presents the losses incurred as a result of automated teller machines - related attacks or incidents reported in selected European countries from 2010 to 2019. According to data on the number of fraud incidents such as transaction reversal fraud, card skimming and physical attacks, the number of ATM attacks increased between 2018 and 2019.

During the period displayed, the value of losses incurred through payment terminal crimes fluctuated. In 2019, the value of reported losses amounted to just under 250 million euros.
