In 2022, Scotland and England were the regions in Great Britain with the highest number of housing construction starts per 1,000 citizens. Meanwhile, in Wales 1.13 dwellings were started for every 1,000 people. The 2022 figures were calculated by Statista using the construction starts from that year, and the population data from 2021, as the figures for 2022 were not available yet.
