As of 2017, there were roughly 60,000 intra-European commercial flights between Brussels Airport and West & Central European countries. Of these, the majority were flights to mediterranean countries, while the number of flights to Nordic countries was lowest. Approximately 72,500 flights flew between Brussels Airport and Mediterranean countries, while the number of flights to Nordic countries was just over 18,500.
