19th presidential election results in South Korea 2017, by province This statistic shows the 19th presidential election results of South Korea that took place on the ninth of May 2017. Moon Jae-in from Democratic Party, the president-elect, won 42.34 percent of votes in Seoul, 61.14 percent in Gwangju and 64.84 in Jeonbuk, whereas Hong Jun-pyo from Korea Liberty Party won 48.62 percent of votes in Gyeongbuk and 45.36 percent in Daegu.
