AHMSA: net income 2015-2019

In 2019, the Mexican company Altos Hornos de Mexico (AHMSA) lost around 7.06 billion Mexican pesos, up from a net loss of nearly 0.7 billion Mexican pesos reported a year earlier. Altos Hornos de Mexico is the largest integrated steel producer in Mexico, nonetheless the decline of domestic market demand, a strong decline in steel prices and the allegations of corruption in the high ranks of the company, led AHMSA into a financial crisis in 2019.
