Split type air conditioning demand in India 2015-2021
In 2021, the demand for split type air conditioning devices in India amounted to approximately 5.3 million units, the highest number of the past seven years. Within the observed period, demand for split type air conditioning increased steadily, with the most significant exception to this upward trend being 2020 when demand dropped to around 3.8 million units.
