The impeachment inquiry into President Trump has gathered a lot of pace in its first few weeks, and with it, the American public seems to be more and more in favour of it. As a new Schar School poll for Washington Post shows, 58 percent of adults said they think Congress should have begun the inquiry, while a plurality of 49 percent would support the eventual removal of Trump as president. Six percent said they think removing him would not be the correct course of action. On the other side of the debate, 38 percent are opposed to the inquiry - leaving four percent currently undecided or with no specific opinion.
