The WTTC projects that Asia will lead the travel and tourism industry's growth trajectory from 2023 to 2033. North-East Asia is anticipated to see the greatest growth at 8.9% followed by South, South-East and Central Asia, all with more than 6% growth over this period. The Middle East and Africa are the next largest growth regions at between 4.7% and 5.1% growth, leaving Europe and the Americas in the dust. The European Union will only see 2.6% growth over the next 10 years, and north America just 3.1%.
