According to a 2023 survey on organic food conducted by Rakuten Insight, 69 percent of Malaysian respondents stated that they did not purchase organic food products because they were too expensive. The next most common reason given by Malaysian respondents for not buying organic food was that it was difficult to find such products in their area.
