Length of national highways across Sikkim in India FY 2003-2022

At the end of year 2021, the national highways length across the Indian state of Sikkim was 709 kilometers. National highways are constructed and governed by the National Highway Authority of India. The highways made up a share of about two percent of the total Indian roads and carried about 40 percent of the traffic. In the same year, the south Asian country had a total national highway length of over 141 thousand kilometers.
