India - total deposits at Westpac 2019

In financial year 2019, the Australian bank Westpac Banking Corporation had deposits worth around four billion Indian rupees across India. The bank saw a sharp drop in its deposits in financial year 2018, after around ten billion rupees worth of deposits in financial year 2017.

Westpac is renowned as Australia's first bank and started its India operations in 2012. However, the bank has been in the process of shutting its India branch in the upcoming year.
