As of 2013, a Chinese individual ate almost 953 grams of vegetables every day. Similarly, the consumption of cereals was pretty consinstent and amounted to about 140 grams per day, followed by fruits. As shown in the figures, pulses and treenuts were not very popular among Chinese people during the period considered, as only 10.98 grams were eaten daily.
