Belgian consumers expressed rising levels of concern regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in March 2020. According to this recent survey, from March 3rd to March 10th, 2020, 60 percent of respondents declared to be worried about the coronavirus situation. As the month progressed, the anxiety levels of interviewed Belgian shoppers grew to 64 percent. Towards the end of March, after lockdown measures have been enforced in Belgium, the level of worry of shoppers rose to 85 percent.
