Peru: ways in which women underwent an abortion 2018

Almost half (47 percent) of the women who admitted having had an abortion in Peru said they underwent a surgical procedure in order to terminate their pregnancy, according to a survey conducted in October 2018. In turn, almost one third of the women interviewed (32 percent) stated they used pills.
