While in the occidental world, Cyber Monday takes place in November, the famous online sales in Russia are held on the last Monday of January, since 2013. In 2020, household appliances were the most popular products in the country during the mentioned sales period, having reached a week-over-week growth by 22 percent from January 27 to January 29, 2020. Computer programs and professional services made it in the top three most sold categories over the named period.
