Share of Black/African American employees at leading U.S. banks 2022
Among the observed banks, the share of Black employees in the total workforce was the highest at 19.5 percent at Truist Bank. Truist Bank was followed closely by Capital One, which was the only other bank, where the share of Black employees exceeded 18 percent. Morgan Stanley and Silicon Valley Bank had the lowest share of Black employees at approximately eight and six percent respectively.
