Supplementary notes

Burger King merged with Canadian coffee chain Tim Hortons under parent company Restaurant Brands International in December 2014. On March 27, 2017, Restaurant Brands International acquired Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Inc. and its consolidated subsidiaries. Income figures for 2014 come from before the merger. Firehouse Subs was acquired by RBI in 2021.

Restaurant Brands International transitioned to ASC 606 on January 1, 2018 using the modified retrospective transition method. The 2018 Financial Statements reflect the application of ASC 606 guidance beginning in 2018, while the Financial Statements for prior periods were prepared under the guidance of the Previous Standards. Figures between 2019 and 2022 include cash distributions received from equity method investments.
