Apple App Store holiday app spending 2018-2020

On New Year's Day 2020, customers spent 386 million U.S. dollars on iOS apps. Global App Store spending topped 1.42 billion U.S. dollars between Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve 2019, representing a 16 percent increase to the corresponding period in the previous year.
