GPS distribution in vehicles in England 2009-2015

This statistic shows the distribution of satellite navigation systems among cars and vans in England between 2009 and 2015 according to type of system. The percentage of vehicles with any GPS technology has been increasing with integrated systems growing from six to 13 percent and hand-held or plug and go systems, the more common option, increasing from 27 to 39 percent in 2015.
In 2016, the percentage of vehicles with hand-held or plug and go satellite navigation dropped by four percent, and the percentage of vehicles with integrated navigation systems improved by the same percentage. Cars with no form of satellite navigation maintained the previous years level of 48 percent.
