This statistic shows the results of a 2017 survey in which female respondents in the United Kingdom (UK) were asked which criteria they use when buying nail polish, broken down by age group. For both 30 to 59 year olds and those aged 60 and over the most important factor when buying nail polish is the value for money, with 49 and 57 percent of respondents, respectively, using this as a criteria for their purchases. In contrast, 48 percent of 18 to 29 year olds said that they base their nail polish buying decisions on which products have deals, making this the most important criteria for the younger age group.
