Italy: under one child mortality 2006-2015 This statistic illustrates the annual number of deaths of children under one year of age in Italy in the period from 2006 to 2015. According to the study results, the number of infant deaths stood at around 1900 between 2006 and 2009, and then decreased steadily from 1947 infant deaths in 2009 to 1396 deaths in 2014. Children mortality is associated with a number of socio-economic factors, such as parental occupation and education level.
