Germans enjoy being outside, be it to exercise or to pursue nature-based activities such as hiking or camping. In fact, the number of people owning equipment for tents, camping and outdoor activities has been increasing, with 9.56 million recorded in 2020. Considering that German camping trips in particular may last up to three weeks or more, investing in durable outdoor and camping equipment becomes especially important.
